My wife and I flew to California this year to see the Tour of California. Great race, but we should have been able to stay here in Georgia. Bring the tour back to Georgia!

I feel we should have as many pro cycling competitions in the US as possible. The sport is growing in popularity in the states, and I would hate to see such a challenging ride cancelled. I have always been proud to know that Brass Town Bald could challenge the likes of Lance Armstrong, George Hincapie, etc. I would sorely miss being able to participate in the local events that celebrate the Tour each year.

I volunteered for several years as the Tour De Georgia passed through my town. What a wonderful event! What a shame to cancel something like the TDG as it has such a positive effect on the participants and the communties they touch. In the age of too much tv, video games and a sedentary lifestyle we cannot afford to lose such a wholesome, outdoor, family friendly event. Please keep the Tour De Georgia up and rolling for many years to come!

I understand the financial difficulties....but the Tour de Georgia was such a great race in U. S. for an 87-year-old Senior Olyympics racer to follow daily with his wife in their gorgeous Great West Motorhome van. The cyclists such as Liepheimer, etc. were all so nice to us spectators in the Tour de Georgia.
