Save Wild and Exotic Animals

Governor Kasich allowed a law to expire that would have prevented the needless and tragic death of 50 animals in Zanesville, Ohio on October 19, 2011.  Tell Governor Kasich to re-enact the law and detail which agencies and officials are responsible for enforcement.
We the undersigned hereby ask that the law to protect endangered, wild and exotic animals be immediately repaired and re-enacted.  The tragic and needless deaths of 50 animals on October 19, 2011, was entirely preventable.  It was, and is, entirely within your power to amend and re-enact the law that would have safely removed all the animals who died.  18 Bengal Tigers - one of the most endangered animals on the planet - are lost forever due to your decision to let a law expire rather than fix and continue it.  Please act immediately to address this failure before more animals suffer and die.  Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
