Save "Without a Trace" from The Economic Crisis!

After a disappointing Season 7 finale, CBS decided to cut the popular Crime Drama "Without a Trace". Featuring the lives and work of the FBI's Missing Person's Unit, "Without a Trace" is one of the many shows to be cut for "cost problems." However, with a season finale that left many people disappointed and with many unanswered questions, viewers are begging for one more season.

We are a great fan of your work, including shows such as CSI: Miami, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: New York, and Cold Case. However, we were greatly appalled at the actions of CBS to cancel the popular crime drama, Without a Trace. Now, as some of the millions of %u201CWAT%u201D fans, We are writing to you so that we can save the show.

According to CBS, they cut the show for financial reasons. This economic crisis is hitting everyone hard, including the television stations. We understand. However, there are several ways to cut production costs. One way to save money would be to have less extras on set. Take away many of the people at the FBI headquarters, also taking away their salaries. You could also film in a different city if New York ends up costing to much, only filming select scenes there.

Another reason CBS claimed to have cut Without a Trace was because of its declining number of viewers. There are several explanations for that. It%u2019s not that people merely don%u2019t watch Without a Trace, they just don%u2019t watch it on television. They would rather watch online, where there are fewer commercials and it%u2019s more accessible to them at places such as work, the car, or the plane. And, since we are in a recession, people aren%u2019t tuning in as often to watch their favorite shows, but are out either working or searching for a new job.

Since CBS has already cut the show, maybe you should try another station, such as ABC, NBC, or FOX. Stations such as TNT, USA, and A&E might also be interested in carrying such a well-known and loved series. Anything to keep the show running.

Please Mr. Bruckheimer, don%u2019t end the show. If you do decide seven seasons is enough, please do a few more episodes for closure purposes, tying up at least some of the many loose ends, including Jack and Samantha, where Undertow left many viewers in shock. We would greatly appreciate a reply message with your response to my letter. Thank you for your time and for bringing quality television to people across the world for years.
