Every year It Is business as usual In Canada with the annual seal hunt on the Gulf of St. Lawrence killing thousands each year the largest of Its kind the seals are killed In a barbaric and inhumane way and some If not most die of a slow and agonizing death while the seal pups are targeted for their fur the mothers look on In horror please help stop this barbaric and Inhumane hunt.

We the undersigned do hereby petition and protest the Canadian seal hunt and will boycott Canadian seafood and travel to Canada until this torture for seals ends this needs to stop now!
We feel that there is no need to hurt these wonderful creatures as well as not use their fur for fashion purposes these are Innocent creatures of the ocean they belong there leave nature alone and let mother nature take Its course what these sealers do to the seals Is just wrong It is barbaric and Inhumane take a look at all the pictures and live footage thats out there please have a heart and stop this you have the power to do so Mr. Harper.

WE have turned many corners in our lives, it is now the 21st century the World is in a state of dispair and who should know this more than any other country, Canada for it rest on the most Northern plateau where the ice flows are coming to an end, we can no longer standby with our heads turned away so a few lost souls brutely kill one of the last creatures of our Northern waters just for tradition, seal fur or food, Mr. Prime Minister I ask you as a fellow human being of this World to look deep into your heart to find the courage and statemanship to put an end to this barbaric tradition for the good of all mankind.

This hunt is a disgrace for Canada : killing these lovely animals to steal them their fur is a total shame, especially in this atrocious way. They are sensitive and innocent beings : why sould they bear such a martyrdom ?Money doesn't justify everything. People who allow such things are purely and simply some criminals. For my part I won't go in holidays in Canada and will boycott canadian products as long as this hunt goes on.
