Say NO to Plastic Bags

Target:
1oooooo
Say No to plastic bags and save our wild life. They do so much damage and there are so many alternatives that can be used. We can change our habits and do some good in our lifetime. Think of the future . Do you want your children to grow up and drown in a sea of plastic bags, like so many birds and fish do now.

The plastic bag is the worst thing ever invented. As a diver I have been to places where there is no refuse collection and have been saddened by the number of plastic bags that blow around otherwise pristine country side and into the oceans. Turtles mistake them for jelly fish and eat them.In 1998, a leatherback turtle, a species on the IUCN's endangered Red List, was found dead in Galloway with 57kg of plastic bags obstructing its innards.

Itīs so much easier and better for the world to take a canvas bag that you can use time and again... I use a canvas backpack or rucksack, and itīs so much more convenient, as it leaves my hands free, itīs much better for my back, I can use my phone if I need to, itīs strong so wonīt tear and let my shopping fall on the floor, etc etc. Change your ways now, letīs try and save the planet before itīs too late! San Francisco outlawed the use of plastic bags in stores about a year ago, and London itīs set to follow. Letīs all do our bit.

hehe ,finnaly I always say no to plastic bags in the stores. We used to have a system here to recycle old plastic as long as it was clean.(Netherlands) It made aware of how much plastic (unnasary..) I had to throw it away, they stopped with the systym, but am more aware of all the products with plastic around them and dont buy it anymore. Now I have heard that they are going to actived the system again, makes me feel less quilty to damage the WORLD!!

Billions of plastic shopping bags each year are polluting our environment and destroying the oceans ecology and marine life. I ask you please, implement an effective way to eliminate the usage of plastic bags and effectively recycle bags into valuable resources. . There is only one Planet Earth and consider this to be important to act on immediately. Thank YOU!

Plastic bags may be recycled but theres so much which can be done with them. Not forgetting the fact that plastic will not rot away.

A turtle was found on the Sunshine Coast with 20 plastic bags inside it. Turtles see the bags and think they are jellyfish. These plastic bags are unnessesary and harmful. Get rid of them!
