SB620 certificate of birth resulting in stillbirth-PA

Pennsylvania has been trying for nine years to join the 27 other states who have already passed the bill allowing families that have experienced this devastating loss of their babies. Babies that are born "sleeping" at birth that are not recognized by the states that they were born in. Please help us fight for this bill to be passed so that we can have some sense of closure and the dignity that we all deserve. We were denied a birth certificate and were told that our babies are fetus's. Most of them born at 36, 40 and even 42weeks alive in thier mother's womb. Each and every one of us denied proof that they did exist, proof that they are our children. This bill has been stalled in the senates health and welfare department but as of October of this year senator Hughes agreed to "get out of the way" and let the bill go to the house again. The bill was passed to the house last year and was "Hijacked". They changed the word child to fetus and took out the word birth. My question to them is how can someone die if they were never born?So we must continue to fight in honor and memory of our sweet little angels, who so quickly passed through our lives and touched our hearts like noone else ever can or will. Thank you and God bless.
Please look over this petition that has had Pennsylvania media very interested. We have lifted our voices in honor of our babies and reached 1552 thousand hearts of people we know and never met. Please pass this bill along and end this fight and give thousands of families the closure that this document would provide. We are not asking you to grieve for our families we are just asking you to end this fight and pass the bill and leave the grieving up to us. We know in our hearts that these babies that we had to say goodbye to before we got the chance to say hello will live in our hearts forever.. Thank You.
Sincerely,
Shawn Betts(angel mom)
