Scotland, Protect Your Rare Birds

The Cairngorms National Park in Scotland is experiencing sudden and unexpected disappearances of rare birds in recent years suggesting that these precious creatures are being hunted and targeted illegally. According to STV.tv, golden eagles, hen harriers, peregrine falcons and hobbies have been among the vanishing birds.

Park staff strongly believe that these birds are being hunted.

Birds such as the golden eagle have experienced concerning declines in recent history in Europe; it is vital to protect the ones that remain. These mysterious disappearances must be stopped and Scotland should do more to protect them.

Tell the government of Scotland that something needs to be done in order to protect these special birds.

We the undersigned sincerely ask the government of Scotland to develop and plan a program that will do more to protect the rare and precious birds in the Cairngorms National Park. The Park is experiencing sudden and strange disappearances over the last couple of years which is great cause for concern. The park believes that these disappearances are caused by illegal hunting.

Please support the precious wildlife in Scotland by doing more to protect these birds.

Thank you.
