People should sign this petition because the future of our American economy is on the line, and the more we can do to help.. the better! When we buy products that are made in America we help support jobs for the American people and keep poverty in America at a minimum. All that we are asking is that large corporations start giving us more of a choice because remember, if we don't have jobs we cannot afford to buy anything, American or not! If the corporations refuse to meet the demand for a larger choice of American made goods, then I propose a boycott until they get the picture that we will not stand for a foreign Monopoply!
We the undersigned, want you to know that we do appreciate your business as you are able to meet the majority of our consumer needs. The only problem in todays society is that our economy is no longer supporting us as it used to. We understand that you want to lower prices to help people in a time of need, but unfortunatly we think you have missed a bigger picture, which is the fact that when you sell a majority of foriegn made goods you are hurting our economy by lowering the demand for American made goods which in effect shuts down american business and kills job opportunities.
This is what we propose:
- Bring in a much larger percentage of American made products
- Clearly mark whole sections or individual products which are American made to help consumers better make an educated choice
- Advertise American made products in your monthly or weekly catalouges
When you do these things we beleive that you will help promote American jobs which will in turn allow consumers to purchase more, which will ultimatly boost your profits in the long run. We believe this is a smart and necessary plan and we hope you will follow it. We honestly want to keep doing business with you, which is why we urge you to follow this plan.
Our next step if no action is taken is to boycott, and we do not want to have to do this because it hurts your business and the sallary of those whome depend on it. We are already aware of the financial troubles America is in and don't want to see it spread any further. And remember that there will be a business somewhere who will follow this plan, and rest assured they will be the business whome the consumers will run to, so we hope you will take this to heart and be that business.
We only ask of these three things and hope you will comply, and we thank you for taking time to read our petition. And once again we appreciate your business and sincerely hope you will work with us to help make America a stronger nation.
