more environmentally friendly buildings, more modern transport services and roads, everything just more realistic
Definitely possibility to play multiplayer somehow... Also I would love to have improved car driving mode so I could for example drive on people's yards and parks and so on...
I second #666. I'd like to see it being even more realistic and I feel it needs depth.
A game where you can make small village’s. Make bendy roads go a round a bendy river.
I would like to see some updated graphics, and be able to get a better zoom-in feature view. I would also like to see texture and mod tools incorporated so that we could make our own towns and cities seem more real. a rural zoning feature would be nice to zone out the spacious rural areas like in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Other than a continually improving interface......the coolest thing to my way of thinking would be to be able to view the city from above - as in all other versions of sim city - but also the ability to rotate down to street level and walk around your city like you were really there.
make it like sim city 4, but with way more stuff, make it so you can make your dream city with no limits, and please have something were you can choose how much money you can have ;)
Linux support.
I'd like to see the ability to make a city that isn't so car-dependent. Bike lanes, pedestrian pathways, and a finer-grain management of the right-of-way would be nice. Graphically, it should be possible to make the game completely 3D now. And it would be nice if the game wasn't so confined to an orthogonal grid; many of the world's best cities are not.
Light rail, bridges over roads and streets, ect. the transportation for sim city 4 in basic and not real enough for a simulator
Ne graphics, 3D view of the city (ground view)
-Transportation improvements; -More compatibilty with the nation; -A concept of nation should be launched.
Zones ONLY have buildings, and u can place (or zone i guess) areas for parking. Buissiness gets bigger and the zone expands. HighWays that arnt so expensive. Hard meium and easy levels changed to Newbie, seasoned, and vetran. Newbies can only build Low and some medium buildings, seasoned can have all meduim and low with some high and higher more complex demand, Vetrans have low, med, and High everything and get the full extent of demand (during the game say a newbie thinks they can do more, they can change the difficulty level so that they dont have to make a brand new city everytime.)
What new features would you like to see in a new SimCity game?
Increased AI intelligence, full 3d graphics, bigger maps, more transportation options etc.
I wanted SimCity 5 had events like Olympics, Carnival, World Cup, etc.. would change in the seasons, which mudessemos get up close and walk the streets as people. We could create several neighborhoods and put them together in one city as a metropolitan region.
all
new stuff for the game should be - as much as possible from reality
I would like to see: More disasters (including those that could be set to trigger randomly), multicore and 64-bit support, a greater number of buildings pre-supplied with the game, weather and seasons, scenarios, more u-drive-it missions, more ordinances, improved government with city workers automatically responding to emergencies, better slope construction (no large foundations), and more transit options.
SimCity 4 with the 3-D of Societies.
more options and detail.
loyal to SC4, not doing experimental stuffs like the failed SimCity Society, research oriented (true urban design), you still can drive your own cars in the city, more disaster, some arco building, etc
Railroads that can run under cities in tunnels separate from the subways. For example In Manhattan, Amtrak and the LIRR, and freight, run deep under the middle of the city, even under the subway tunnels
AMO tudo em Sim City!!!
There needs to be a wider variety in building variance. Yes I know that's a big task, but it is a CITY BUILDER after all, and cities have lots and lots of different buildings. About 2000 different "growing" buildings would be adequate I think. There should also be a variety of designs for the "plopable" buildings such as schools, police stations, and fire stations (which each city seems to need so many of anyway). The last thing that should be improved is the street system. And for those of us who like to plan ahead for future populations and traffic... We should be able to control how far away from the streets larger buildings are allowed to "grow" so that when we need to enlarge a busy street we can just pave the front yard instead of having to bulldoze the entire skyscraper.

so that an old but great games seiries won't end! id have to say... every mod ever made on simcity and others, like bridges with highways and trains, with light rails, the optio to design and make a bridge and buildings... all that neat stuff! |
Simcity 4 Deluxe pretty well had all the features you need. Maybe a Sims 3-style camera and more variety in traffic/buildings ? There should also be weather.
Freedom to build curved roads and buildings that can easily be attached to the curves without the need for wasted space. More political choices which would affect cities, ie green technologies. affective mass transport systems.
I wanna see better, wider roads like rhw, bettter mass transit and cooler everything
Game should be with MISSIONS. goals, weather: rain, snow, traffic jams...
As realistic as possible and indeed I wanna go green!
The new features i would like to see included are the facilites such as; schools, hospitals and police etc should be able to move the radius or catchment area to a customisable shape, but keeping with the same area/volume. For example my village school is based on a main road but on the other side of that road is a field, i propose that you would be able to move the radius away from "the field" to where it would be needed. Anyway thats just my opinion. Thanks
