Six Flags Theme Parks need to RECYCLE!

Target:
3,000
Sponsored by:
I can only imagine the hundreds of thousands of bottles of water, Gatorade etc.  that get thrown in the trash every season at Six Flags Great America.   We recently visited the park, and could not find a single recycling bin.   .   It seems to me that the sheer volume of bottles they sell should require them to have a recyling program.   California law requires that large entertainment venues recycle solid waste.  Six Flags should get with the program and reduce their carbon footprint.   Until they do- I won't be supporting them.

We the undersigned,

As Consumers we would like to voice our dissatisfaction at the lack of a recycling program at Six Flags Great America.   The negative impact Six Flags is having on our environment is immeasurable.    We will not visit your venues until we have seen a change to a greener climate.  "Americans buy about 28 billion water bottles a year, and 80 percent of bottles end up in landfills."  Please help us in reducing that number.

Recycling isn't a choice, its a necessity. I am befounded that such a landmark can be so ignorant.
