SAVE THE 'GATORS IN South Carolina!!!

The South Carolina Legistlature is Planning to start allowing the hunting of alligators again. Alligators have been protected in South Carolina for years.  But development has encroached upon the alligator's natural habitats.  With this encroachment has come increased human/alligator contact, with the resulting hysteria.  The recent attack of a man in South Carolina by an alligator, which resulted in the man's arm being amputated by the animal and its death.  As usual, media outcry has resulted in the SC Legistature to bow to demands of the hunting lobbyists to allow the slaughter of these majestic reptiles.  Let's speak out to these congressmen of the great state of South Carolina and tell them NOT to pass any legistlation to allow the hunting of alligators.

We ask that the Legistlature and Governor of the great state of South Carolina not pass any laws to allow the hunting of alligators.  These animals have been protected for many years, but human encroachment in the form of development has increased human/alligator contacts and the resulting media hysteria that follows.  We request that you ignore the hysteria and keep the protection that your predecessors bestowed upon the alligator.
Thank you
