Take Our Spay/Neuter Pledge

Take Our Spay/Neuter Pledge

Target:
People Who Want to Help Our Animal Companions
Sponsored by:

Homelessness is not just a human problem. U.S. animal shelters must put to death between 4-6 million dogs and cats every year simply because there are too many animals and not enough people willing to adopt them. You can help prevent this!

Tree House believes you should always spay or neuter your animal companions, and never buy them from a breeder or a pet store. For every dog or cat purchased from a pet store or a breeder, another animal in a shelter is killed.

Please sign this pledge to show your support for Spay/Neuter 2008!

I want to help put an end to animal homelessness. By signing my name, I pledge to spay or neuter my companion animals, educate others about the importance of spaying and neutering, and never buy animals from a breeder or a pet store.

Pets have better attitudes after spaying or neutering. It became easier to train my dog after the surgery.

I have been doing that for years here in my country. People are just as irresponsible here as they are in the rest of the world and leave to others to pay for THEIR negligence. I had as many as 60 at one time (all dumped, abandoned etc) I rather skip a few meals to save the money for spaying/neutering than let another unwanted litter be born to add to the stray population. Why in heavens name can't people be more responsible. Everyone wants pedigrees instead of getting a cat or kitten from a shelter so we are overrun with "kitten mills" People are such jerks - wanting a status symbol rather than a loving ordinary companion. Makes me want to screem
