Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) has just introduced articles of impeachment against President George Bush. Please urge your member of Congress to stand with Kuninich and support impeachment!
Why impeach now? Even though President Bush is a lame duck president, the fact remains that he misled our country into an illegal war that has killed hundreds of thousands of people, most of them innocent Iraqi civilians. He has conducted warrentless surveillance of American citizens and violated the Geneva Convention by approving the use of torture. He is not fit to be President and should not be allowed to hold this noble seat. Impeach now!

He has conducted warrentless surveillance of American citizens and violated the Geneva Convention by approving the use of torture. He is not fit to be President and should not be allowed to hold this noble seat.

I respectfully request you support impeachment proceedings. Bush is nothing more than an elected official. If he has abused his power, he should be held accountable. Is he a war criminal? A murderer? Investigate and proceed based on the evidence. thank you

As the mother of a son who is on his second tour in IRaq, I can olny hope that we as a country hold George W. Bush and his administration responsible for all the needless death and carnage that has occurred as a result of our country invading a country when it was not necessary or prudent to do so. To allow this behavior and the stripping of our Constitution to go unchallenged is wrong. He needs to be held accountable or there is nothing to stop future administrations from pursuing such a terrible course as this has been. I only pray that my son returns home safely and doesn't have to serve a third tour in that God forsaken place.

If "Joe Ordinary Citizen" had done what THIS clown did for the past 8 years, with all the fraud, dishonesty, misuse of public monies (that would be OUR money), "Joe" SURELY would have ended up in prison for a Long Long Time! PLEASE sign the petition and make yet ANOTHER historic moment - the first president to be impeached even AFTER leaving office! Don't let him slop in the public trough any longer!! At least impeachment will cut down on the number of perks he receives after leaving! AND - if anybody's up for a tar & feather party, I'll start heating up the pot!

The American people have been lied to and mislead and our Constitutional rights have been trashed. There are many many of us who have felt outraged AND helpless to do anything about it. I acknowledge that this petition is largely symbolic. There seems to be no source capable of revealing to the larger public that the Cheney and Bush actions have been criminal.

This is long, long overdue. He should be held accountable.

I couldn't agree more. I've barely survived the 8 years this incompetent individual has inhabited the White House and I'm really sick and tired (literally) of it. This sad lack of intelligence and sense of reality has no place in the White House.

It is beyond thought that this man has not been impeached and imprisoned. He has continually lied to the American Public and has mis-used the office of the Presidency for the past 7+ years in office. He has funneled a majority of the money from this nation while re-building a nation that not one of us should care about. This has caused a loss of jobs and econimic stress on this country while serving Haliburton, Cheney, and Bush. The bail-outs are a disgrace to the American tax payer and should not have taken place. This is totally unconstitutional and does not serve this country in the least.

Mr Bush's wreckage of our nation's laws, of people's lives both at home and abroad, must not go unreckoned. Future Presidents will not 'give back' such errant powers gladly as "absolute power corrupts, absolutely". Impeachment is needed to totally disavow Mr Bush's despicable acts for all the world to see in the light of day.

We need to show the rest of the world, and to confirm for ourselves, that human life and the rule of law matter--and we need to show everyone that we're on a different course.

It is important both to our self respect and to show the world that we are ashamed of the loss of life and destruction that has occurred because of George Bush's single minded arrogance and illegal acts.

I have just seen the documentary "Torturing Democracy." It shows that Bush sanctioned torture. We must send a signal to the world that we repudiate and deplore this conduct and that we are ushering in a new era.

No Administration of the U.S. should be allowed to have power over this country without having to answer to their constituency.
Please carry through with this impeachment process so that all truths can be revealed.
The American public deserves to have all their questions answered in regard to the supposed criminal behavior of the people who were "put in charge" for the past 8 years.

Bush and his administration has almost ruined our democracy. Impeach so those who follow won't dare do this. How ugly that they can just not show up when ordered by the court and get away with it. Let a citizen to that and they are toast.

I am weary of presidents who believe they can butcher the Constitution of the United States with impunity, wage pre-emptive wars on innocent nations, lie to the public, wire tap the citizenry, rewrite the definition of torture so as to ignore the Geneva Convention and in other ways behave with utter disregard for law and decency. Bush and Cheney must not be allowed to trash the nation of Iraq based on lies and falsified information, tear down the international reputation of the United States, bankrupt the treasury, and abuse the civil rights of peoples abroad and at home without accountability. Please impeach these two criminals, far and away the most destructive and shameful president and vice president in U.S. history.
