As a group we ask you to please seriously consider the fact Mickey Rourke has been entertaining millions of people world-wide since 1979. We are firmly committed to achieving our goal which is to see that Mickey Rourke's name is placed on a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. Recognizing his numerous accomplishments would not only be fitting, but a well-deserved tribute to this living legend who has marveled discriminating cinema enthusiasts through his remarkable talent and expert thespian skills for so many years.

We wish to officially present this petition to the members of the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce as well as The Honorary Major of Hollywood, Mr. Johnny Grant, who directs The Hollywood Walk of Fame esteemed selection committee. Mickey Rourke performances have given so much to the entertainment industry. This scene-stealer has inspired so many in his field and he remains a powerful presence in the business. It would take numerous pages to list all his successful endeavors as both a powerful entertainer and passionate human being. We encourage everyone who has been touched by his work to sign this document, participate further by spreading the word and solicit others to take action as well. This movement has been organized for the sole benefit of having Mr. Rourke credited for his excellent works and we humbly thank all who participate, help and support the cause.

A stroll down the Walk of Fame is simply incomplete without Mickey Rourke being represented and recognized for all he has done.
