We would like to raise awareness about the growing homeless problem in America.

We the undersigned, would like to petition for an Awareness day, week, or month for the homeless in America. This is a growing problem, and we need to act fast, and become more bold on this subject. People need to be made aware of these lost souls living in our streets. What if it was a family member, would the relatives of said homeless person turn a blind eye then?
I firmly believe that if awareness is raised on this problem, and people are given the right information, and tools, more people would be willing to help, and not be so scared. If everyone pitched in in their community, maybe some lives could be saved. Everyone deserves food, warmth, and clothing, don't you think?
