Sir Petruskou,
Madam Barnasova,

Let me be turned to you / and in the planned construction of new coal power plant in Trebisov. How well do you know, the Kosice VUC already among the most environmentally burdened regions of Slovakia. The area is contaminated with dangerous PCBs substances, the quantity of old environmental damage and negative impact on her operation of coal power plant in Vojany.

I suspect that if the investor only finally succeeded in building power plants in Trebisov current state of the environment in the region would be further aggravated. According to the project should be planned coal plant produces about 465 000 tonnes of waste (fly ash, bottom ash, slag and boiler dust). According to the noise study, which was assessed in the EIA process "noise levels are already present in the upper limit values. Implementation of the project would be led to a further increase in noise, which mainly affected the northern part of town. Due to the operation of coal burning power plants contribute significantly to an increase celoslovenský emissions of carbon dioxide - the estimate is approximately 10% national average.

KSU in Kosice in the days leading regional action for the construction of power plants in Trebisov.
I believe / and that your office would in this case had to respect a negative opinion Trebisov the city and its citizens.

Please This e-mail as my personal request to your office in case the construction of new coal power plant in Trebisov held for the benefit of citizens and said the construction of its clearly not!

Sincerely,

Sincerely,

Greenpeace, the local civic association "TREBISOV Sudden" and the representatives of the city Trebisov long protest against a controversial plan to build near the city center a large coal fired power plant. Territorial proceedings for the construction of the power currently leads the County office building in Kosice and despite the formal opposition of the city.

Let's say this together clearly not non organic project! The territory of Eastern Slovakia is already among the most environmentally burdened regions of Slovakia. The area is contaminated with dangerous PCBs substances, the quantity of old environmental burdens and existing coal-fired plants in Vojany.

If the investor only finally succeeded in building power plants in Trebisov, the state would still be significantly worsened. According to the project should be planned coal plant produces about 465 000 tonnes of waste (fly ash, bottom ash, slag and boiler dust). Regarding the noise, according to the noise study, which was assessed in the EIA process "noise levels are already present in the upper limit values. Support Trebisov citizens and environmentalists! You can join by simply typing your data, and a letter with a call for the cessation of the building will automatically be sent to building officials, District Office in Kosice, who will in the coming weeks to decide on the fate of the building - and in fact also the health and environmental thousand Zemplin.
