Stop Dangerous Diet Ads on sites visited by children 18 or under

Target:
The U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services,  The U.S. Dept of Education, Senator Obama, Senator McCain, myspace.com
We, concerned parents, are demanding that myspace.com and all other networking websites remove and stop buying dangerous and misleading ads promoting unhealthy eating habits or dieting directed to young women and teenage girls.  A particular ad seen on myspace has recently shocked many parents who are concerned their daughter will feel pressured to look like. This ad, basically showing a very healthy person on the left (with beautiful shape), and a "stick" on the right hand side , but of course promoting the look of the skeleton, is ridiculous. Here is the link with the pictures showed on the ad on myspace:  http://www.kelleysweightloss.com/These ads get worse and worse every year. If you agree with us and other concerned parents that the before picture is thin enough, and beautiful then please sign this petition and forward it to everyone you know. We need to take charge of our children's future and ask YOU, our  U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES and  U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION to intervene more forcefully and educate our children better by having seminars in school, and communities, better health education and ban these horrible ads for good. They should not be allowed on sites visited by children under 18 as they are growing need not to be harrassed by ads basically telling them they are too fat, no matter how thin they look!  We, concerned parents, refuse to let these stupid ads become the norm. There is too much pressure around and we need to counteract these horrible ads and "models". We need to encourage healthy behavior, body and mind. The worst thing is that lately they trick young women with these new "healthy" acai berry, etc diet but still, this is not right. Kids need to hear the truth and that some women have died of colon cancer using diet pills for example.  We ask everyone to work together to do what we can in your community to speak up and keep our beautiful daughters, friends, at a healthy weight but without going overboard.  Our daughters are our future. If they get caught up in this, they will not be healthy and might have difficulties having children in the future. Keeping a healthy weight is important also to not mess up hormones, to avoid stress and adrenal fatigue. A healthy weight is important for success in school in life, the fight against obesity is a great intiative but the fight againts other eating disorders and the role the internet has on our children needs to be emphasize more.

Thank you
