This image is used in an ad for Dolce and Gabbana. It clearly promotes and glorifies gang rape. It sends a message that it is acceptable to pin a woman down, and that many men can have their way with her and there are no consequences. This is absolutely appalling. Not only are advertisements such as this offensive to adults, they are influential and can have an amazing impact on children. Large and influential companies such as this must be held responsible and accountable to promote positive messages and help support causes for human rights, not glorify one of the worst crimes imaginable.

There are too many ads out there that are degrading to a woman. Ads that promote us as a piece of meat. Enough already

find a better way to advertize your product other than pinning a woman to the ground while others watch, that is called gang rape.

I am a professional glamor photographer and I find advertisements such as this offensive and glorifies submissive women. Are you selling clothes or not? Here it seems you are selling gang rape. STOP THIS. You are giving the glamor industry as well as your company a BLACK EYE!
I will never buy another Dolce & Gabbana product or work with them as a client. Period.

It's hard to believe, but it is true. I took a Advertising class in college. There are more subliminal messages in advertisements than we know! This one clearly isn't even subliminal. Sign this petition people!

Is is immediately apparent the kind of values that this appalling image promotes. When censorship extends to seemingly innocuous images, how is it possible that this image escaped? Obviously the forcible violation of women is not deemed important. It sickens me to think that an act which succeeds in ruining the lives of women every day has been reduced to a ploy to sell shoes. Is gang rape fashionable? This is a terrifying sign of our times!

This is disgusting. It shows you what kind of people are running that company. Clearly no morals and no respect for women.

I find this very offensive. I feel that this ad promotes a very negitive statement. I am a survivor of a bad situation where I was victomized and when I look at this ad, it makes me feel that this woman is a victom. Many people enjoy role playing in their own home, and with their own partners but for a public ad to show something of this nature is wrong.

If this ad hasn't been pulled yet,it should be,this promotes rape, rape culture, violence and is deeply offensive to women.I happen to know several people who were molested, and a very dear cousin who was once gang raped, suffered a breakdown due to the trauma, and became pregnant while in a mental health facility, because she was pimped out by someone who worked there, this was many years ago,40's or 50's,but to me our culture of rape and violence toward women hasn't changed much since then.

I am shocked that a depiction of gang rape is being used in an ad campaign.
As a survivor of both rape and domestic violence, whenever I have seen this image on Dolce and Gabbana ads it brings bad memories to me all over again. And think of the impressionable young and not so young people, who see this and become desensitized to violence against women.
I am a fashionista.I love clothes and shoes and makeup. But I will NOT spend my money on companies such as D&G which have violent ads like this.
Does D & G hate women?D & G makes clothes for women.What is wrong with this picture.I am a blogger.And you can bet I'll spread the word.

While I understand your need to grab consumer attention and I "get" the fact that you're using shocking images to enhance interest in your brand, I challenge you to defend this image condoning and glorifying sexual assault of a women as a message that supports the Dolce & Gabanna brand. It is irresponsible for a major corporation to condone the heinous crime that is portrayed by this ad. I will never purchase another Dolce & Gabanna product in my entire life as a result of this outrage, and I will go on to say that I hope that those who created and those who decided to purchase and use this "art" to drive sales are soon made aware in a personal way of the realities of violent gang rape ... if only to reinforce the horrors that this image portrays to many women throughout the world.
