Stop extended deployments

I know pulling out of Iraq isn't going to happen we are in too deep and there is no end in sight regardless what the presidential candidates say. (Even though we should focus our attention elsewhere)
But there is something that could be done Shorten the length of time that a soldier is gone regardless where he or she is overseas. Instead of soldiers being gone 12-18 month deployments they could do 6 month rotations, it is definitely possible we have enough service members to do that obviously we are going to be there a while so equipment can stay and troops can just swap out every 6 months.
Stopping extended deployments will help boost soldiers morale, ease the strain on the soldiers as well as their family members, and possibly help decrease the % of divorces which is high. These Men and Woman have families too they already sacrafice so much for us by joining the military and putting their lives at risk (cause if they didnt then there would be a draft) I have talked to service members and they all have said they know they have to go but it wouldnt be so bad if it was for shorter time periods but they also know they don't have a say in what they do.

Help be the voice of the person who is defending your freedom.. I support the troops/friends/my husband..

You dont have to be for the war or the president to support the troops. If you are a former service member, a relative/friend/girlfriend/boyfriend/wife or husband of a member please sign and keep this going. It's pretty bad that some soldiers are serving there 3rd tour in Iraq and it will not be their last tour lets make the next tour shorter for all..

(imagine leaving a newborn child (well taken care of) behind to go to do your job and when you return that child is 1 1/2 yrs old and you are this childs mom or dad- this is what happens when our service members are gone this long) -

These men and woman are going crazy being their for so long they are even getting to the point of suicide but the media doesn't tell you that.
