Stop Funding Animal Rights Activist

Target:
Animal Rights Activists
Please STOP funding these TERRORIST ACTIVITIES!

During the past two decades, radical environmental and animal rights groups have claimed responsibility for hundreds of crimes and acts of terrorism, including arson, bombings, vandalism and harassment, causing more than $100 million in damage. The Prominent Groups are: Animal Liberation Front (ALF), Earth Liberation Front (ELF), Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC), People for Ethical Treatment of Animals, and Humane Society US (HSUS).

PETA claims to be dedicated to saving animals. Did you know that, according to PETA's own records PETA spends less than 1% of its $13 million budget on actual care, housing, feeding, and home-finding for animals? In fact, PETA literally puts animals to death via lethal injection, which they claim is 'more humane', and then leaves the dead animals in garbage dumpsters! PETA directly provides funds and support to two groups, ALF and ELF. The FBI estimates that the ALF/ELF have committed more than 600 criminal acts in the United States since 1996, resulting in damages in excess of 43 million dollars."

HSUS - The undercover slaughterhouse video released on January 30 by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS): If HSUS knew in October 2007 that potentially unsafe meat was entering the U.S. food chain (including the federal school lunch program), why did the animal rights group sit on its footage for more than three months? Because of HSUS%u2019s preference for sensationalism over protecting the public%u2019s health, millions of Americans (including countless children) may have been exposed to meat that wasn%u2019t fit for human consumption. HSUS clearly shares responsibility for this whole sorry episode.

Hunters/Outdoorsmen/women have done more for the environment and conservation than any of these terrorist groups. In 1937, hunters lobbied Congress to pass the Pittman-Robinson Act, an 11 percent tax on hunting equipment which, combined with license fees, now provides $700 million a year for protection of wildlife habitat on public lands. And Ducks Unlimited alone has conserved an estimated 7.2 million acres of waterfowl habitat. So next time you want to make a donation, how about make it to a real organization that actually cares about the environment, wildlife and conservation.

WHY ANIMALS HAVE NO RIGHTS

"A right, properly understood, is a claim, or potential claim, that one party may exercise against another. The target against whom such a claim may be registered can be a single person, a group, a community, or (perhaps) all humankind. The content of rights claims also varies greatly: repayment of loans, nondiscrimination by employers, noninterference by the state, and so on.

To comprehend any genuine right fully, therefore, we must know who holds the right, against whom it is held, and to what it is a right.

The differing targets, contents, and sources of rights, and their inevitable conflict, together weave a tangled web. Notwithstanding all such complications, this much is clear about rights in general: they are in every case claims, or potential claims, within a community of moral agents.

Rights arise, and can be intelligibly defended, only among beings who actually do, or can, make moral claims against one another. Whatever else rights may be, therefore, they are necessarily human; their possessors are persons, human beings.

Animals (that is, nonhuman animals, the ordinary sense of that word) lack this capacity for free moral judgment. They are not beings of a kind capable of exercising or responding to moral claims. Animals therefore have no rights, and they can have none. This is the core of the argument about the alleged rights of animals. The holders of rights must have the capacity to comprehend rules of duty, governing all including themselves. In applying such rules, the holders of rights must recognize possible conflicts between what is in their own interest and what is just. Only in a community of beings capable of self-restricting moral judgments can the concept of a right be correctly invoked.

Humans have such moral capabilities. They are in this sense self-legislative, are members of communities governed by moral rules, and do possess rights. Animals do not have such moral capacities. They are not morally self-legislative, cannot possibly be members of a truly moral community, and therefore cannot possess rights. In conducting research on animal subjects, therefore, we do not violate their rights, because they have none to violate.

Genuinely moral acts have an internal as well as an external dimension. Thus, in law, an act can be criminal only when the guilty deed, the actus reus, is done with a guilty mind, mens rea. No animal can ever commit a crime; bringing animals to criminal trial is the mark of primitive ignorance. The claims of moral right are similarly inapplicable to them. Does a lion have a right to eat a baby zebra? Does a baby zebra have a right not to be eaten? Such questions, mistakenly invoking the concept of right where it does not belong, do not make good sense. Those who condemn biomedical research because it violates "animal rights" commit the same blunder.

If you want to make a difference and help animals, avoid PETA, HSUS, ELF, ALF, and SHAC and everything they stand for. Volunteer or make donations to your LOCAL Humane Society or animal shelter. Participate in a beach or park cleanup. Patronize your local zoo. Adopt a pet that needs a home. Above all, don't fall for these Animal Rights Activists lies.

I bet ANY animal rights activist would not care at all about the animal tested to find the cure for a disease that their sick relative may have.

I personally have found that www.marilynsvoice.org is a serious terrorist group located in Mentor,Ohio. Kristina Lange, as she goes by, is not even her real name. Her real name is Mrs. Kinzig. She doesn't go by that because her Husband is a convicted Felon and is watched by the Government because of his terrorist activities in the past. She works at the Cleveland Clinic and uses the hospital computers to harrass local pet stores. We are in the process of convicting her for this activity. We figure that her job at the hospital will be terminated very soon.

I very much would like to see something done so these groups(PETA, ELF, ALF, SEA SHEPHERD, etc) have some "Restrictions" put on them and how they do business. The non-profit, animal loving groups easily get a sympathy vote, with the awww.. poor animals schtick. I have rights and should not have to deal with these groups lurking around every corner trying to take something away from me that I enjoy. Because once they get what they want, it's not enough. They won't be happy until every agenda is addressed. They need to have limits!

A few signers of this petition stated that the Animal Rights activists would rather kill a human baby than animals for food. As always, the blind followers of the evangelists continue to give out sound bites without making any sense. Human babies belong to the parents who have the constitution to protect them. The animal rights activists have nothing to do with that aspect. The animals on the other hand are left to survive against the hunters who have nothing productive to do in their life. Hunting for survival in the wilderness was done limitedly to what was needed. The kind of hunting done by Gov. Palin shows a savageness and uncivilized attitude towards life which is unneccessary today. The Pro Life stance of all these hunters is just a sham. Stop encroaching on the wilderness and crying wolf!

Why! I like what PETA and HSUS and the others are doing! How else would the skinning of live animals in China have been exposed, to name only one example! They diligently and tirelessly work at routing out animal abusers, exposing them for what they are! Keep up the good work guys! We love you and millions of us are routing for you. The complainants are definetely the ones who have been exposed and are now trying to close down the good work of the caretakers of innocent animals. Get real you devious, EVIL greedy forms of life!! We are watching you CLOSELY!!!

Stop funding these folks. They have no viable, cost-effective plan to manage game herds and do nothing but harass law-abiding citizens.

STOP FUNDING these wackos! They are everything parents told us to avoid. They would rather kill an unborn baby, then kill an animal for food. It is our right to have guns and hunt, and these people want to try and take it away! They just sent a letter to Ben and Jerrys Ice cream, asking them to use breast milk and stop using cows milk. They think it is cruel to milk cows. If they keep getting funded, they will continue to commit crimes trying to save animals that will be used for food.

It is not the job of the HSUS to assure our food supply is safe. That is the job the FDA who drags their feet and causes entities like the HSUS to have to come to the aide of defenseless animals before corporate greed can implement their inhumane practices. The job the HSUS is to assure that humane practices are followed when animal’s lives are concerned. To hold the HSUS responsible for not blowing the whistle before its investigation was complete is like saying “don't worry about your months of investigative work being thrown out of court, blow the whistle now and everyone will (of course) come to your assistance once you're tangled up in the justice system. Yea right. Give me a break. Thank God the humane society spent the time and money to properly investigate this horrific example of inhumanity. They simply collected the needed evidence to quickly push this terrible case through the justice system, that’s what professional activists do here in 2008. Don't believe petitions like these. They are sponsored by corporate entities that don't like being called onto the carpet for their atrocious handling of living breathing animals who often endure terrible abuse at the hands of out-of-touch, corporate controls and greed. The only pain that the CEO's who run these racquets feel is when organization like the HSUS put a stop to their inhumane practices, of which the profits resulting are already figured into their profit margins. So when we ask them to stop electrocuting sick cows, they say, okay, but if we can’t electrocute them, it will cost the consumer more for the product. Fine pass the buck to the consumer, we expect corporate greed to remedy all situations the same, but for God sake stop abusing animals.

I am sick and tired of these groups getting away with terrorizing people and the fact that PETA and HSUS are tax exempt makes me sick. Take away their tax exempt status and treat them like the terrorists they are.

These people don't have the intellect to separate animal abuse from the natural cycle of life. As for the HSUS, their senior scholar Michael W. Fox said, "The life of an ant and that of my child should be granted equal consideration.” In addition to statements by these groups that saving a drowning puppy is more relevant than saving a drowning child with down syndrome. THIS is the mentality of people like this. As long as they say disturbing things like this and behave as teenagers on a tantrum, not caring who they hurt, they will NEVER get this animal lover's support!!!
