I want to strongly believe that a reputable community like that of Care 2 should be treated with respect and that its members should maintain a high level of ethical standard to compliment its reputation, being that its made up of people of the entire world. This leaves me more room to wonder why a lone member will wake up one morning and all he deems fit is to feed fellow members with "tales from moonlight" in place of fact, concocted to distract and defame a nation.

As a legitimate citizen of Nigeria, it grieves my heart to see alien like Kelli Stowe, rubbish my fellow citizens and my nation as a whole on a global platform, with the deceit of being concerned for children and human right while he and his cohort satisfy their ulterior motives.

I am one person who believes in respect for every living thing (comprising of plants and animals), irrespective of their caliber. I will never take stand with any fellow who steps on the right of others directly or indirectly.

The so called facts provided by Kelli Stowe for our consumption are fabricated baseless facts and are all Anti-Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries, Anti-Helen Ukpabio Anti-Cross River State and Anti-Nigeria. And I smell a thick aroma of spiritual undertone in it, targeted at uplifting the devil and re-caging my beloved country Nigeria. And on the other side of the coin, Kelli Stowe and CRARN who I believe may have sponsored him (because he made reference to them in his other petition to Godswill Akpabio) want to be recognized for being jobless, because so far as I’m concerned, if this is the mission of CRARN in Nigeria, then they are mere hungry demons looking for a place to feed. If they think that this is how to collect the leaking oil money, then it’s a wrong approach.

This is a height of insolence on my person as a citizen of Nigeria, on a woman of God who’ve been a source of blessing to the nation and other countries of the world. Today it is Helen Ukpabio and Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries, tomorrow it might be Governors Liyel Imoke, Godswill Akpabio or even President Yar Adua etc.

I am pleased to inform you all that the guardian.co.uk lack moral gumption and work ethics to have published a cooked up story like the ones Stowe is picking as reference point. If he has any facts in his hands which can be verified, and confirmed to be true, then lets see it, because using another fools report is baseless and can not be named facts. The guardian.co.uk really exhibited much of their weakness and immaturity in the same story which Kelli Stowe is using which lacks credibility and verifiable facts, I am here to say that no matter that United Kingdom refers to Nigeria as an under developed country, but our journalists are now seasoned and would not publish anything from the trash can in the name of facts ready for consumption. Let me just mention one of their mess out of many: There is no place in Nigeria like Delta State of Akwa Ibom, so I wonder which part of the globe where these amateur journalists found themselves and thought it was Nigeria.

The constitution of Nigeria doesn’t provide a supportive clause for child labour and trafficking let alone manhandling of children via pretence of their being witches and wizards or the like. This is more or less saying that the nation is not fit enough to carry all its citizens along and that all the nation has been doing both in past and present to check these acts are mere time wasting. Nigeria is a nation that is deeply feeding and supplying many nations of the world with natural resources and all we get in return is to either call us names ( such as thieves, crooks, witches etc) or blackmail us on a global platform. This is inhumane! I can now see why the militants in Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta States, etc have decided to pay some of the foreign workers in this region back in their own coin, because we might still have so many other Kelli Stowe in the country. But we still maintain that we don’t welcome such acts, by so doing, we sacrifice our soldiers and youths just to give foreigners a comfortable place of stay. I shed tears anytime I look at events such as the way we are treated in UK and the United States, with little or no freedom at all. But any of these foreigners who cross our borders into Nigeria is freer than even the citizens and are highly rated, even in establishments where we have qualified Doctorate degree holder as Nigerians to occupy a particular post, the likes of Samuel Uwa would prefer to give it to a trade test holder so far as that person has a white skin. This should have been appreciated, but at the end, we still have a Kelli Stowe and his Cohort. Our fathers might be blind, but we (their children) can see.

Let me buttress my points with the following living facts:-

1.      Nigeria have been waging war with those who have been involved in child trafficking and child labour and it will be their interest to ensure that those who are supposed to work with them to rescue this situation (i.e. the churches) are the ones carrying out such acts to the tone of rendering homeless children in the name of witchcraft possession. This is the more reason why we have NAPTIP and other bodies that check these acts. We have seen the much they have accomplished so far and Kelli Stowe is mere telling the whole world that these bodies are wasting time. I hereby falsify that claim.

2.      Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries is a ministry whose aim is to set the captives free with delivering the oppressed and those living in fear of being oppressed by the powers of darkness. As a resident of the capital city of Cross River State, I am boldly stating here that this ministry accommodates a lot of homeless and mentally deranged (both old and young alike). With this, I again falsify the claim that this ministry has been rendering these children homeless and extorting money from their relatives.

3.      Where by others who claim to conduct deliverance from witchcraft spirit do so with a fee, Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries do same without collecting a dine. Where by some pastors charge for counseling, Evangelist. (Mrs.) Helen Ukpabio and her pastors do same free of charge (spending large amount of time to do this). I again rule Kelli Stowe’s claims that she brand these children as witches to extort money from them as a fact picked from the pit of hell.

4.      It is the culture of this great woman of God that people possessed with this spirit or the like are advised to join her School of Deliverance (which she do without even collect fee, tithe or offerings like some would have done right there) where they will be taught about the need for their deliverance and reconciliation with God instead of breaking the news to them and their relatives. When asked she simply said that breaking the news will put their relatives and friends or even their victims in fear and some might want to manhandle them for being what they are. She even portrayed this is her film “The Price”. This is an evidence to reckon on. Again Kelli Stowe, Tracy McVeigh of guardian.co.uk and CRARN are blatant jobless liars.

5.      The spirit of witchcraft the bible says has to do with chaos, tragedy, backwardness, anti - development, etc. this is why God commanded in the Old Testament that individuals with this spirit should not be allowed to live. But the reverse is the case in these locations where Kelli Stowe has mentioned. Because Evang. (Mrs.) Helen Ukpabio believes in the doctrine of “Grace” and that by reconciling these people back to God like Jesus would have done, they have a chance of living and making heaven.

6.      Apart from these, Cross River State was once almost forgotten and never mentioned as an outstanding city though it was the first capital of Nigeria, but it took a huge spiritual battle from the likes of Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries to redeem the state. When many preachers flee from Calabar, this ministry stood their ground and slotted it out with the devil, same happened to Akwa Ibom. It is vividly clear in the memory of every Nigerian living in Cross River or living in the state capital (Calabar) that this ministry was the first and has been organizing a yearly (once) program of walking around the city with singing and rejoicing like the children of Israel did to Jericho in order to sanitize the city (yeah! because the more they did, the more rituals disappeared from the junctions and notorious spots and flowers and trees were planted in their stead). In case you don’t know, the spiritual controls the physical and when the battle is won spiritually, the physical result is development. Today Cross River State organizes a world class Christmas festival where people from different walks of live travel down to attend (the only place in Nigeria where such is done), Cross River State was picked as one of the venues for the Miss World beauty pageant, if it were as it was in those days of darkness, this wouldn’t have happened. Cross River State have been holding its Obudu mountain race that is open to contestants from different parts of the world, Cross River State is a tourist state and accommodates tourist from different parts of the globe, I might say its one of the base of tourism in Nigeria, Cross River State is the most cleanest state in the whole of Nigeria (it was awarded to the previous Governor), Cross River State is referred to as the peoples paradise, and among all Cross River State is the World Headquarters of Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries. Unlike other ministers that would have ran to Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt Benin etc to site their headquarters, this woman of God site hers in the Capital City that was then insignificant and battled with the opposing powers until they left the city for her and development began physically because the spiritual hold has been conquered. Now with Kelli Stowe’s claims and petition, it is evident with these facts that he is asking for a re-caging of Nigerian citizens, and I will not tolerate it. Like many others, I would have said the lady in question is not from my tribe, Cross River State is not my state, but this is obvious because someone has to say the truth and I have every right to defend my fellow citizen and the rest of humanity in well doing. The most important thing to me is that darkness wants to overshadow sources of light, and I would be wicked to humanity if I fold my hands and watch that proceed.

All around the world, there are cases of child trafficking, child prostitution, child soldier, and child abuse, to mention but a few, and I wonder if the same Evangelist Helen Ukpabio is still the one in charge of such. Reference:

I don’t think witch hunting has ever been instrumental to the above incidents. And let me say it clear here that if anybody witch hunt anyone in this manner in Nigeria, its not Kelli Stowe’s petition target.

If Kelli Stowe is allowed to continue, he might succeed in upsetting this woman of God who might (but I know she would not) in response shut her doors to those who’ve been benefiting from her kind gestures and the gift that God has deposited in her. This woman of God knows the truth in these verses (Exodus 22 v 18-20, Leviticus 19 v 31, Leviticus 20 v 6, Leviticus 20 v 27, 1 Samuel 28 v 3, 1 Samuel 28 v 9) of the Old Testament. But sticks to the gospel of Grace of Jesus Christ, and uses her spiritual gift (the spirit of discernment) to discern and deliver these people (both Old and Young alike). So if you know of any person in the world who condemns anyone both old and young in the name of their being possessed with witchcraft, and the condemned or the accuser wishes to live again like every other free human being, then take such a person to Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries. End of Story!

We the undersigned are bitter to read, hear and understand how a member of a reputable Internet community like "Care2" should treat a whole nation without respect, and fabricate lies about citizens of this nation just to tarnish their image on a global platform. We understand that acts like this can possibly metamorphose into continental, nation to nation conflict and may be war, whether we are citizens of this nation or not, we want to say that humanity as a whole regards this as machination and brutal use of false words on the rights and person of the people, cities and nation involved especially on a global platform like this. For the sake of peace, which is what we all stand for, we demand that Kelli Stowe, should write a letter of apology to the following:

Kelli Stowe, I hope you wouldn't let me get this petition fully endorsed before you do this. Because that would tantamount to asking for the bitter side of some. . . . . and you'll get it.
