Stop KFC from Hindering UWO's Reputation!

As little of you may know, Burger King will be taken out of Reeve after this semester. This is merely due to the end of a contract. The problem with this rises from the decision on what food franchise will replace the BK location. KFC is said to be the only other food company that can be put in Reeve due to complications with ALL other franchises and businesses (hard to beleive?) Here is the BIG problem:
- It will be a KFC Express: no corn, no mashed potatoes, only boneless chicken, no bowls of any kind, etc...
- UWO is strongly committed to the principles of sustainability especially with the food they serve and the reputation of KFC will set the campus back many years and give us bad PR. KFC has a rep for inhumane treatment of their animals.
- The PR (Public Relations) will be horrible due to campus environmentalists, PETA, and many other groups and organizations that have major issues with KFC and the way they produce their products.
- UWO already serves the same type of food in Blackhawk and the To Go room.
- Many other businesses could replace BK such as (for example) Panda Express, Subway, McDonalds, BK could stay, and as a side not: another Pizza Hut express was denied also supposedly by the students..
