Stop Legal Homelessness

There used to be a time when the government preached about helping the homeless. However, they are now contributing to the increasing amount of homeless people in our country who have to literally pack up their families, their belongings and, move onto the streets. The big wigs are throwing families out of their homes with the high cost of living and multiple increases in the very areas we need in order to survive. At a time whereas, millions of people are losing their jobs, they should not have to worry about subjecting innocent children to that sort of lifestyle when it can be helped. I often wonder, if everyone involved in making the decisions that are causing us so much grief was in our positions, would they still make the same decisions? But we all know the answer to that question.

I know times are hard right now but maybe, if we all pitched in a little, we can at least scratch the surface and help toward repairing one of the biggest, saddest issues facing millions of Americans today. Instead of spending money on multiple houses, cars, etc. lets find it in our hearts to set aside at least $1.00 that will help to feed starving families living on the streets. I don't have a lot of money but whenever I can, I will do my part. I also plan to personally be hands on to make sure the people in need are taken care of and, all contributions are used only for services pertaining to the homeless. I will shop for flip top can goods that they can have when needed. I will supply eating utensils, etc. I will also prepare home cooked meals as much as possible and personally deliver it to as many people as possible within the Tri-State area. The Five Boro's is where I want to focus on first. Then, if this cause is successful, I will branch out. My overall goal is to create a program that will have living and learning facilities but, not a shelter for the homeless to help get them back on track.
