Stop Parks Canada from allowing the murder of polar bears

Stop Parks Canada from allowing the murder of polar bears

Target:
Darlene Pearson, Parks Canada
Sponsored by:
Should polar bears be slaughtered because people are too lazy to scare them away or too stubborn to stay out of their protected area during peak polar bear season?  Guns have been banned in national parks for 122 years, but Parks Canada is considering changing that law in certain parks to allow firearms for human protection. They say the changes in the law are for human safety, but there have been countless human deaths caused by guns -- many more than those caused by polar bears. This legislation could mean the slaughter of polar bears first, then the beginning of a cross-Canada trend in parks that opens the door for hunting, poaching and accidental human death. Guns kill.  They don't protect.  Please take action now!

We the undersigned believe that Parks Canada should uphold its commitment to the protection of our wildlife by not allowing firearms within any National Parks, including those with polar bears. Please consider the potential this has for allowing the unnecessary slaughter of animals and the precedent it may set for other parks. Please continue to uphold your 122-year reputation as protectors of nature and wildlife.  Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.

PEOPLE DON'T NEED GUNS TO STOP ATTACKS! GUNS KILL AND AREN'T NEEDED FOR ANIMAL ATTACKS! PEPPER SPRAY IS GOOD ENOUGH, AT LEAST IT DOESN'T HURT YOU OR THE ANIMAL. IT MIGHT HURT IT'S EYES, BUT YOU SHOULD BE GLAD YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO KILL IT!!

Don't use guns on polar bears. Simply scare them away by spraying hot pepper or chili gas into their eyes. It really works. Try it!

Canada seems really good at telling other's what should be done in their country, yet you have a diamond company massively mining above the Arctic circle, the seal hunt and now this. Let see some leadership.

Polar bears have to live in the parks. Humans have a nice safe home in the cities where they belong! All these laws to protect humans are for is just to open up another turkey shoot for hunters to satisfy a thirst for blood from those that can't fight back. Once their foot is in the door they will slaughter every bear they can find every where.these bears belong to the public and are NOT the PERSONAL PROPERTY OF HUNTERS AND FUND RAISERS FOR THE PEOPLE MAKING MONEY ON THE HUNTING TAGS!!!!The animals have personalities, intelligence ,families an feel excruciating pain when their human preditors torture them and their little ones to death. They also grieve! No! do not touch them.Keep all people out of the parks, especially hunters!
