we will ask that you shut down all organisations and funding to scientology centres everywhere and a formal apology to the world that it should have never been classed as a religion

This is a very dangerous cult that needs to be stopped. Once you join up with this crazy organization, they become your family. They take all of your money and leave you flat broke and thier reason is that they're trying to save you. To add fuel to the fire, once you join up with these people, they totally seperate you from certain family members and friends who merely disagree with the cult practices. They also tend to invade you and your families privacy so that they can get any kind of "dirt" on you in order to harass you into keeping quiet. Like they say, "everyone is fair game." Scary stuff indeed!

It's mere drivel, so it could pass as a religion, if it wasn't purely driven by profit.

This sect I believe has many famouse actors as members. This is not a religeon in any shape or form.It was devised by a third rate Science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard. Why any sane person can believe the rubbish it spouts is anybodys guess. How ever some people may like the idea of talking to each other through two tin cans joined together by a piece of string and call it science.

after going to a saturday activity at a scientology center in miami, i am appauled that smart individuals would even consider something like scientology a religion and not a business. a lot of things are common sense and a lot are a bunch of science fiction nonsese created by a science fiction writer. they charge for every little thing, including taking classes to learn more about their ''religion.'' to me it looked more like a cult than anything else. it is scary to me when they dont believe in things like psyciatry which is a known science to help inviduals with mental problems. i think it can become a very dangerous thing, specially when it concerns kids and teenagers that can be easily manipulated. it is a shame that hollywood stars would promote this since many people regard them as role models when all they do is their jobs....why not take teachers as role models, mother theresa and the dalai lama. i am a concerned individual, mother, and catholic female.

These people enjoy a tax exempt status because they call themselves a religion. Scientology is just a self-help book at best and a 'cranky' one too. they take a lot of their parishoners money.

Scientology by it's very nature is not and never has been a religion. People like Maddona who believe in such nonsense are MAD or power hungry. Not sure which. If however, one uses common sense, I suppose it could work. But in most cases, it hasn't and it may never will.
