In 2004,12 million sharks were caught in U.S. waters.Fisherman in shark tournaments will hook,gaff,and killed(battered to death,shot with a gun,or die from suffercation from bieng out of the water,or bleed to death.)Although it might not be as bad as shark finning for the chinese delacacy shark fin soup,it still kills the coastal migrating sharks.Each day of a shark tournament, there could be 50 boats out and each one kills about 10 sharks......thats about 500 sharks a day!!!!!
