Ekaterinburg, which we proudly call the third capital of the Russian Federation, has been leading the bloodiest campaign for stray animals extermination which has recently become massive. Dozens of dogs are killed mercilessly every day on our sreets. Tiny puppies find the most horrible death pinned on metallic bars.
These sadistic measures of regulating stray dog population are totally unacceptable. We the citizens plead for help. We demand from our City Administration to stop the bloodshed immediately and start co-operating on the animal shelter organization.

We the undersigned ask you to stop the stray dog massacre that is currently taking place in the city and to start co-operation with the animal-protection organizations that are ready to open an animal shelter and to resolve peacefully the question of stray dogs population control.
