Stop the annual slaughter of over 20,000 dolphins in Taiji, Japan

  • by: Heidi A
  • recipient: Ric O'Barry, Activist.

The focus is to create worldwide awareness of the slaughter of more than 20,000 dolphins and porpoises off the coast of Japan every year, and how their meat, containing toxic levels of mercury, is sold as food in Japan and other parts of Asia, often labeled as whale meat.
The majority of the world is not aware this is happening.
We need to pressure those in power to put an end to the slaughter.

We the undersigned support you in your quest to stop the slaughter of more than 20,000 dolphins and porpoises off the coast of Japan every year.

We are aware of all the hard, selfless work you do to put this barbaric practice to an end and would like you to put this list of signatures with the letters you send to President Obama, Vice President Biden, the Japanese Ambassador to the U.S., the Prime Minister and Minister of Health in Japan.

Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
