The act of feeding these dogs to this python needs to be stopped! Satisfing this python's hunger with helpless and innocent dogs is inhumane! These dogs do not deserve such cruelty! The python serves no true purpose but to only attract attention. There has to be another way to take care of the python. We the undersigned would like to bring to your attention a python that consumes 3 to 4 dogs a month. In an average year the snakes eats 36 to 48 innocent dogs. The 985 pound python is located in Kendal, Indonesia. The zookeeper believes he holds the largest snake in recorded history. This python is the length of a four story building and serves little purpose but to bring attention to it's location in Indonesia. These dogs are innocent creatures and they do not deserve this inhumane act. I am sure there is some other alterative food source.

Though our ecologic stewardship leaves a lot to be desired, all things equal, I'd like all animals to exist in nature rather than in captivity. The main exception of which I'm immediately aware are those species which are no longer viable in what we've left them as natural settings, and are dependent upon us to survive. The issue of feeding dogs to this python rather than entertaining or even educating the public in any of a myriad of other ways is so horrid I have difficulty wrapping my mind around it! It is so aberrant, I can only imagine the sociopathic underpinnings of such a person who'd concieve of this behavior. It certainly ranks with the Grand Junction, Colorado, dragging of Buddy, a German Shepherd, to his death behind a truck.
