I do not want a National Health care system in the United States. I have seen how it works in Canada and I do not like what I see. I want to be in charge of my own health care.

stop the public option or consumer option. The proposed health care reform is not a reform at all. Where is the expense reduction initiatives? It is being built on wealth redistribution, higher taxes for all, and government subsidies. If you hated TARP, bailouts and economic stimulus (stop us) you will really hate Pelosi, Obama , Reid health care. Hey, the P from Pelosi, two Os of Obama and R from Reid spells POOR. The POOR health care reform.

My family does NOT want Nationalized Healthcare. We can't afford the 2000 pages of rules and regulations- this will bankrupt our country. We will vote out of office anyone who votes for this Bill. Boyd R. Taylor

Please stop the reckless spending of my tax dollars. We need less government and less taxation, which will create more jobs, and lower the national debt.

I am a small business owner. If you really care about me then let me deduct my health care costs. Let my employees deduct their health care costs. Let us go across state lines to shop for health care.

I am on Medicare (70yrs old) it is ran by the government and they sure don't run it well. The plan that has been talked about,ie: reforms to medicare to cut cost is nothing but a "Death sentence". My father is an example as far back as 1993. He was sent home after surgery because his time was up in the hospital, 4 hours later at my home he was DEAD. Come on people Government cannot and Will Not take care of you. This is just another form of Dictatorship, we must remain FREE

Say "No" to Government running 1/6th of our economy. Improve American healthcare by improving national health awarness, improving torts, relaiizing that 90% of our patients come from other seeding illnesss, and clean up Medicare. Openly show and copy Mayo Clinic.

Nobody on Capitol Hill is listening, you see they get to keep their federal health care benefits and wont have to take part in the socialized medicine that Obama wants the rest of us to have. Enough is enough, Impeach the SOB before he ruins our beloved country!

What do we know about this president at all? ! Except for his alliances with a church that hates anyone who is not of color and a questionable birth certificate. This is Socialism at its worst. Frightening.

Nationalized Health care is another step toward socialism. As a citizen who just suffered a layoff and loss of insurance, I feel I am qualified to say the government does not owe anyone a free ride on the backs of the employed!

The last thibng we need is another government hand out. Everyone in DC talks about needing health care reform. I fail to see how another insurance option is reform, competition yes, reform no. Address the real causes of the health care issue and quit trying to take our money.

I am totally against Obamacare. I do not think that I or any other taxpayer should pay for this program to help those that do not want to work and would rather be a blight on society. We should also not have to cut the coverage for the elderly and give more coverage to those who are already on medicaid. I guess if people want to have to wait for months for tests or exams the way Canada does then we should have national healthcare. I prefer what we have now.

The answers to our healthcare issues are not socialized medicine and are not going to be answered by MORE government. Things could always be better, but not in the way they are being done. Exactly what healthcare background do these politicians have that are making decisions for the rest of us?

I am a professional healthcare employee. I have spent many years and dollars for my education. I feel that it is imperative for every person to be able to choose the many options available in regards to their healthcare. Everyone in government should use what they are trying to force on others for themselves and there families. When government gives out "bail-out" money so freely they should not dare try to take something away from United States citizens because this country needs help financially when it concerns what is of most value to all of us....our loved ones!!!!!

Government intrusion into people's health choices and wealth re-distribution will only reduce nationwide productivity, remove personal liberties, increase costs, reduce the supply and quality of services, or all of the above.

I do not want the government to be in charge of my health care. We are only a few steps away from losing a very important freedom. I don't want to be told I have to purchase healthcare or I will be fined. I don't want to wait on a list for an operation or an office appointment. Do people honestly feel that our government can take care of each one of us? Is that what they want? If I am elderly, and need an operation, will they put me off, and take others ahead of me who have a longer life expectancy? If I get pregnant, and the fetus looks like it might be born with a birth defect, will the government be allowed to deny me care? You need to stop and ask yourself what it will really mean to have the government take care of you. You should talk to people in Germany or England, and find out why they come to America to get healthcare when they need it. Please help stop this Nationalized Health Care Program.

I want the safety knowing I can take my sick child to the doctor without the government telling me this is elective and I cannot take him. I do pay for my health care, it is not free. I CHOOSE to pay for it for the safety of my family and the safety of our finances. You are not turned down because you do not have insurance. It is a responsibility of yours if you CHOOSE to carry it and do not want to risk bankruptcy in case of an accident. Our economy will suffer more because of doctors not getting paid enough to cover their hundreds of thousands in education loans and insurance companies going out of business.

If you want to know what nationalized health care would be like....just a small taste....go to your local Western Dental office and have you dental work done there! More government means LESS choice for patients. Just look at the history of ANY government run program.

This is bull crap!! I guarantee that McCain/Palin wouldn't have put this bull crap into progress. Last time I checked, this was a free country and they shouldn't be able to tell us what we can and can not do as far as most things go. Especially healthcare!

The government shouldnt have the right to tell us how we live our lives. They shouldnt have the right to tell doctors who they can and cannot treat. and NO ONE should be able to tell u when where and how you're going to die.

All I have to say is that I lived in a county with a nationalize health care for 9 years and you died first because you had to wait for a treatment or was homeless and was denied health care because there was no prior authorization of a primary doctor. And because it nationalize what they will do is have less doctors, nurses, radiology and have to wait because the government is being cheap. I rather pay my medical bill slowly then have to go to a doctor I don't truth and dislike and be forced to go. By the way I have Cerebral Palsy and the hospitals has been my second home. I believe that having a great respect and chemistry with your doctor is key to be get healthy.

The bad thing about this is the real impact of this legislation won't go into full blown effect until President Obama is gone in 2013. Leaving us with a mess of people dying because the government is denying healthcare to anyone they want. And the deficit will be huge. I never understood that the government first goes into debt in order to make money. That makes absolutely no sense. And another thing how are we letting them stop funding on fighter jets to fund more planes for the president. They all need to be stopped, and soon.
