respectfully demand that the brutal animal slaughter being currently performed by public servants be stopped immediately and that you implement a programme of massive sterilization all over your country. It is really pathetic when a nation that boasts of being modern uses methods that have nothing to do with the image you are trying to show to the world. Shooting animals is not the solution you should use to deal with pet overpopulation because it not only gives the image of a barbaric country to the world but to your people too. The method that you are using gives the impression that Egypt has sunk into the darkest well of the ignorance and lacks respect towards all forms of life. Education and compassion are the foundations of human behaviour, and it is the message your country should be sending to its citizens.

I humbly ask that the Egyptian Government please find a more humane, more compassionate way to deal with the stray animals in Egypt.
As an animal lover, it disturbs me greatly to know that the country I love so much has such barbaric means of animal control.
