Stop Unnessacary Animal Testing!

Help stop unnessasary animal testing! Only signers from the USA please.

We the undersigned, are putting our foot down to try to stop unnessasary animal testing for: cosmetics, baby care, body care, bathing supplies, animal care, dental care, fragrances, hair care, nail care, personal care, shaving supply, skin care, vitamins and supplements (not required by the FDA), house hold cleaners, and industrial cleaners. There has been further testing to prove that many forms of animal testing is unnessasary, such as the following:
An embryonic stem cell test, using mouse-derived cells to assess potential toxicity to developing embryos, has been validated as a partial replacement for birth-defect testing in rats and rabbits.(6)
The 3T3 Neutral Red Uptake Phototoxicity Test, which uses cells grown in culture to assess the potential for sunlight-induced  irritation to the skin.
Human skin model tests such as the validated EpiDermtest, which has been accepted almost universally as a total replacement for skin corrosion studies in rabbits.(7)
The use of human skin leftover from surgical procedures or donated cadavers can be used to measure the rate at which a chemical is able to penetrate the skin.
The use of a clinical patch test in human volunteers, which can confirm that a chemical will not cause irritation or allergic skin reactions.(8)

Sir please help the thousands of animals that are poked, prodded, cut open, malnourished, dehydrated, and other horrid forms of animal testing. Imagine your childhood pet going through this! Please stop federal funding of animal testing research labs, and shut them down.

Thank you, Mr. President for taking your time to read this letter, and we all hope you will take great consideration in what we the people believe in.
