A young Atlantic Harbour Seal was washed up on the shores of the mid-atlantic island Bermuda on February 15.Estimated to be a year old - was found exhausted and emaciated with deep laceration to his neck - his survival was uncertain. And he marks the first successful rehabilitations of a stranded marine mammal for the BERMUDA AQUARIUM -where the staff nursed him back to health , under the watchful eyes of Dr Walker and his crew.
Thanks to the generosity of Fedex senor manager Chris Heslop brought a plane to fly this one lucky animal back to US to his natural habitat. One of the vet at the National Aquarium in Baltimore  Dr Brent Whitaker came personally to accompany this animal back  to make sure he had a comfortable and did not get dehydrated. All the people who were involved to make this remarkable recovery   of this special seal should be highly commended. We animal lovers are very thankful for this awesome kind deed to our adorable animals. You%u2019re special people out there in Bermuda, FedEx and the kind animal doctor Whitaker thank you - YOU ARE OUR HEROES.
