Street Begging Elephants
We the undersigned protest Elephant begging on city streets.
The street elephants suffer both physically and psychologically from living on the streets. But it should be obvious to everyone that elephants do not belong on the city streets, they are a hazard to traffic and are often the cause of many accidents.
Seeing Street Elephants gives visitors a very negative image of beautiful cities. It displays such obvious disrespect for the Elephant, normally honoured and revered in Asian Cultures.
Help to enforce a ban on Street Elephants and by promoting existing alternatives for these auspicious animals. So visitors can experience elephants in a more free and natural setting without them being exploited.

I have seen those fearfull stressfull eyes of street begging elephants, a sight I'll never forget!

IT IS ORDERED THAT THESE ELEPHANTS BE RELEASED TO AN ACCREDITED ELEPHANT SANCTUARY, WHERE THEY CAN LIVE OUT THE REST OF THEIR LIVES IN HARMONY WITH WHAT IS NATURE. ANYTHING LESS IS NON COMPLIANT WITH COMPASSION TO THESE TOWNS' OFFICIALS WHO'VE CHOSEN TO TURN A BLIND EYE. THEREFORE, COMPASSION WILL BE SHOWN PROPORTIONATE TO THEM AND THEIRS WITH PLAGUES, SANCTIONS, AND HARDSHIPS OF DEVASTATION. NON NEGOTIABLE. |

I was disgusted to see very young elephants being paraded around the streets of Bangkok begging for food and being beaten with hooks. It digusts me that thailand would use this as a tourist attraction.
It is very sad that the elephants habitat is being destroyed so they have no where to live. Don't buy Nestle products. Nestle is funding the cutting down of their land in order to harvest palm oil.
Stop using the animals as a way to get around and to carry heavy objects!!! People can do it by other means! Help these elephants back to the wild where they belong. Free and able to do whatever they please!

This is absolutely disgusting and cruel.
Elephants are beautiful creatures sent from heaven. Give them the grace they deserve.
It's heavy to walk, walk, and yet walk...and the heavier you are, the greater the damages to your feet and legs. I have seen that these gentle giants don't even get painkillers when they have difficulties to walk. Let us do something about this!
The elephants are being abused. Please stop it!
What kind of country allows this to happen your guess is as good as mine good grief the world should sit up and take a look at this kind of thing elephants wouldnt beg in the wild they belong in the wild set them FREE to live there lives ban all goods fom these countries and dont go for holidays this is what they do in return for peoples going there

as for the those who use their elephants to earn their daily bread should be helped to seek other jobs because these poor animals are not cared for well at all by the owners. How can these owners be responsible for these big animals since they force their creatures to beg?
