I actually just want to petition to the Montreal Canadiens organization that they include a second Stanley Cup celebration parade next June (after winning their 25th Cup; St. Catherine's Street, Montreal, followed by Younge Street, Toronto) to recognize the contributions of ex-Leafs Mats Sundin and Pavel Kubina. It would be well-deserved.

Mats please don't listen to the naysayers and people who want you out. They are the minority. A vocal minority, but still a minority of fans. The great silent majority want you to remain a Leaf. You have the leadership, the obvious skills and dedication to help this hockey team as it transitions to a new and hopefully fruitful direction. Although, yes, Sundin has every right to go to a team he chooses after everything he has done for the Leafs, It's just morally wrong to turn around and join the rivals, ESPECIALLY TO RETIRE WITH THEM! He can go to a team like Detroit, fine, I'll still love him every bit at much, just not Montreal. Honestly, the pain and ridicule fans like myself will face from Habs fan is going to be ridiculous. I'll be bombarded by about 30 people asking me where Sundin is playing next season, and trust me, the joke gets old fast. Honestly, it really makes me question how faithful Mats Sundin was about what he said about retiring a Maple Leaf, the pride he had as a blue and white because honestly I think he'd know that his morals should be worth more then his cash. He goes to Montreal he almost ruins his career as a Maple Leaf. I'm sorry Mats, but I can't give you the stamp of approval on this one.
