This petition is to serve the purpose of expressing unconditional support of World Soccer Daily on Sirius and XM Radio and to support the first amendment of the constitution of the United States of America. Signers are displaying their support for the program and are making it clear to all sponsors associated with World Soccer Daily that they also have our support as long as they continue to support the show and agree that World Soccer Daily is a forum for openmindedness, healthy debate, and First amendment rights. Thank You.
We the undersigned wish to show our support for World Soccer Daily on Sirius and XM Radio as a forum for healthy debate about the game of football(soccer) and to exercise one's right to free speech. Please demonstrate that these basic human rights are also important to you by continuing your support of World Soccer Daily. Such continued support would demonstrate that you, the sponsors, are truly American in spirit. A lack of continued support for World Soccer Daily on your behalf would demonstrate to the listeners and the American public that in fact it is not the comments made about Hillsborough that you reject, instead it's the pressure from other groups, since the remarks, that have caused you to alter your thinking. Such action would cause us, the listeners of World Soccer Daily to have to re-evaluate our position of support for you, the show's sponsors. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
I would like to thank all of those who signed this petition to help World Soccer Daily. It is with deep regret that I inform you that some of the shows sponsors have decided to drop WSD despite our efforts. They are 4-4-2 Magazine, Fado's Irish Pub, and World Soccer Shop. The fight is not over though. As supporters of this show we should be boycotting these companies but more importantly WSD needs the help of the listeners to be able to stay on the air through these troubles. I have created a fundrasier for listeners to go and make a contribution of $20 to the show in order for the show to be able to stay on. Please help make your voices heard by making a contribution. You can access the fundraiser by going to www.fundable.com and searching for "Help World Soccer Daily" or by going to this link http://www.fundable.com/groupactions/groupaction.2009-06-01.5674359583/view?searchterm=help%20world%20soccer%20daily
It should be noted that Who Are Ya Designs in fact did not breach their agreement with WSD. The contract between WSD and Who Are Ya Designs had simply expired on May 31, 2009 and was not renewed. This forum had incorrectly called for a boycott of Who Are Ya Designs
Again, thank you so much and please continue to support World Soccer Daily
