The City of Cambridge is renegotiating its license with the cable provider, Comcast. As part of the community needs assessment, the City is holding a public hearing on Wednesday, February 3 at 6 PM at Cambridge City Hall. CCTV receives most of its funding through this contract, and it is critical that Comcast representatives are aware of the public support of CCTV's work in the community. Everyone is invited to attend the hearing - rather than asking everyone to speak, we are asking for signatures on this petition.
Have you ever watched CCTV's channels (9, 10 & 22), taken a class here or produced a video? Has your son or daughter participated in the Teen Media Program, or have you ever used a computer in computerCENTRAL? Please sign this petition to ensure that Cambridge Community Television receives the funding and services it needs to continue to respond to the media and technology needs of our community.
