President Obama has nominated Chai Feldblum to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Feldblum has had an exemplary career culminating in her current role as a Full Professor of Law at Georgetown University and Director of the  Federal Legislation and Administrative Clinic.

But since her nomination, she has been vilified by the Right Wing, and attacked specifically by the religious Right Wing.

We the undersigned, reject the notion that a respected academic like Professor Chai Feldblum should be rejected for a seat on the EEOC merely because of her ground breaking work in expanding the notion of equality. We fully support her nomination, and believe it will make this county a more equitable place for all people.
