I'm a fan of Robert Pattison, sure. I don't actually care what people think of Robert Pattison playing Edward, but in my opinion, he's too GOOD to play Edward. (Truthfully, I think he was good playing in the Harry Potter movies) Either way, Robert shouldn't listen to what people tell him about not right for the part of Edward. I love R-patz, because he is Spunk Ransom. Because he created that name on his own. Because he if funny. Because he is sincere. Because he is a great actor. Because he is an AWESOME singer. Because when I saw his face and knew he would play Edward Cullen, I finally was able to see Edward Cullen. Yes, for me it was hard to imagine Edward in my head. I actually think he's the only actor in the whole cast that comes anywhere close to the character they are playing. I don't even know if I'll go see the movie because from what I've seen from the trailors, Stewart's acting is not on for Bella. She reads the lines way to confident and doesn't really portray the emotions of a teenager falling in love for the first time correctly. And the Cullen's and Hale's resemble elegant models, which certainly isn't the case for the actors (not that they aren't good-looking). Unfortunately, Robert was the only thing the casting director did right.

I agree that no-one could be cast as Edward (I mean, come on, he's said to be a perfect looking person) that would please everyone. I was really excited to see Rob cast as Edward, I think he's really good for it and I loved him in HP4 so I was happy with it. I think there's no point complaining when you know you can't change the fact that they chose him (: Stephenie Meyer is happy, + it's really her pov that counts. He's pretty much awesome + his american accent (imo) is pretty convincing. + he's obviously cute. (:

He will do a great job playing him and he'll convince everyone of it when it comes out Nov 21. I hope to see him in all 4 movies to come....and I'm also sure If I had seen him across the cafeteria when I was in High school with his piercing eyes contageous laugh and gorgeaous smile, I would have fallen in love too. First I have to tell u, that the first time I saw Robert was in the 4th movie of Harry Potter...(It didn´t have to be said, that I dislike the role of Cedric Diggory by the way.) When I saw the trailer of TWILIGHT, which was showed on MTV, I remembered him and I´m being honest: I couldn´t possibly imagine someone else to be Edward. The scence with him so far are very good! The whole movie made me red the book(s) a couple of times. I´m sure that everybody has over images of edward in front of their eyes, BUT u can´t do it like everyone like it to be.

Because he is a brilliant actor and the perfect Edward - I think anyone who is ridiculous enough to suggest Robert IS Diggory has a very closed mind and an inability to see actors as seperate entities to the characters they portray! For me the casting of him as Edward couldn't have been more perfect - he fits the character and then some!

I dont remember Rob in harry Potter so I am excited to see Twilight. My friend does know his as Cedric. Bummer for her she has preconceived notions. I have watched all 3 trailers several...several times. I think he will do great! I love that he is British. Just adds to the excitement for me. As soon as I saw a couple of the trailers I couldnt think of anyone else for Edward!! Poor Robert hang in there.....There are plenty of us who love you..er Edward...no you....ok both! :-p
