Can you show your support of Rudozem Street Dog Rescue by signing the below petition with the belief that they should stay in Rudozem, Bulgaria. RSDR are helping many Street Dogs by having them re-homed and believe the town and people of Rudozem should be showing their support instead of letting certain individuals cause harassment and starting their own petitions to "drive the English family" out.
Please read the story below:
Rudozem Street Dog Rescue (RSDR) is a non-profit foundation that helps rescue Street Dogs in Rudozem, Bulgaria. http://www.streetdogrescue.com
The Rowles family moved from the UK to Rudozem, Bulgaria in 2007.
They were shocked at the number of street dogs and apalled at the condition of them and the abuse that some of them suffered. They are now a registered foundation and even though they have no shelter to work from, they try to help and re-home as many dogs as possible. They currently work from their own private home.
All this has been done from their own savings and donations from private individuals. They have recieved no help in the form of grants or from the municipality in Rudozem. In a few days time the number of dogs that they have managed to find homes for in Holland, will have risen to 48. Instead of realising that their work is helping to reduce the number of street dogs, certain dog-hating individuals have started to harass the family.
One person (who doesn't like dogs) has even started a petition to "drive the "English family out of Rudozem".
Although this person's petition may have no legal standing, petitions of this sort can incite hate, racism and violence. Therefore we ask that the town and people of Rudozem, and supporters around the world to support the Rowles family in their efforts and work with the street dogs.
Can you help by signing this petition with the belief that RSDR should stay in Rudozem, Bulgaria and help as many more street Dogs in Bulgaria and have them re-homed?

Why would anyone want to stop anyone doing good work to help dogs? How selfish and cruel of them to try to stop them! leave them to carry on their vital work helping animals.

The people helping the Street dogs should be applauded not bullied.. If the bullies cannot help, then they should at the very least not hinder such a worthy cause. Looks like Bulgaria is now on my banned list of countries to visit.

Every dog has a right to live and have at least the basics food water/warm shelter.
The laws in many countries are very poor and no thought for these poor dogs.
The system in all countries must change it is only us that can fight the cause for better lives for these poor mites

I do so admire the people trying to help these poor dogs. I wish them all the best. I hope these nasty trouble makers come to see what they are trying to achieve. Getting help for street dogs eventually makes for a safer, healthy and more pleasant place for both dogs and residents. I am not surprised though. Eastern Europe is a hell hole for animals second only to China.

What a huge undertaking for just one family. I'm glad this family is caring for the helpless animals in their city. It is hard to understand a city government which will not protect its strays.

Dogs have done so much for us! They deserve much better than what they currently have in Bulgaria. I admire these people for doing what they're doing! They are GOD sent!!!

save the poor animals, they are helpless and need your help. How can you pass by a needy animal?
