This show was the reason that I got Sirius Radio in the first place. Have listened for about 4 years and am truly shocked and saddened that it will no longer be on. This show really helped me to understand appreciate the game at a new level. There is no where else in this country where you can hear informed discussion of soccer (football) in an accessable way like you could on this show.

I am a lifelong Liverpool supporter and I am absolutely ashamed in the manner in which some of LFC's supporters comported themselves in this country. This is isn't Iran or Afghanistan. This is supposed to be the bastion of freedom--of the press, of speech, of expression and certainly of religion. Why all the vitriol and hatred? America is supposed to be better than that. We're supposed to be better than that. It's been said all that is required for evil to prevail is for good me to to nothing. Well, I have another quote for you, "When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle." I hope we get the word out and give whatever is in us in, that good shall prevail and hatred stopped in its tracks. This country has come a very long way since the days of the great MLK and the civil rights movement for us to simply stand idly by and let evil men make hatred and bigotry an accepted form of counterpoint. I find it a sad indictment of today's society that a few ignorant Liverpool "Fans" can ruin an interesting, intelligent and thought provoking programme, of which there are too few available these days. The Irony is that these louts are only furthering the stereotype of Scousers ! In this case it appears threats of Violence may win and for that we should all be sad !

While I happen to think that Mr. Cohen is a complete wanker, I absolutely and unconditionally support his show. I have been following this sport since 1970, I have suppported Stoke City (the potters) and Stafford Rangers (that is where I am from). It is a shame that a show as good as this is not on the air anymore. It was the one thing I actually looked forward to everyday, in facted was the only reason I got Sirius. I am a devoted Manchester United fan and do have respect for Liverpool's accomplishment. However there is a population of idiots that still exists in the culture of Liverpool football. There continue to disgrace the legacy of the club and should get out of their parents basement (or garage) to join the rest of society. It is really sad that a few Liverpool fans of the lowest common denominator have ruined the finest and most humorous show on football that this country will ever see. We will once again be forced into listening to smiling, clean-shaven, corporate cronies in their expensive suits discuss our beloved game with no love, passion, intelligence, or humor from this day forth (see Alexi and the ESPN team). To those who support freedom of speech (of which I am one) comes a responsibility to tell the truth when you speak. For those in a position of broadcasting this is especially important. In this, Steve Cohen has been a poor example. His vitriol towards Liverpool, it's supporters and citizens has long been known. Everyone has the right to an opinion but to delibererately and wilfully spread lies ( which he knew them to be) in order to raise his profile in the U.S. should not be acceptable to any right thinking person. I know that the vast majority of people signing this petition have done so honestly and with the best of intentions but you have been taken in by Steve Cohen. Every inquiry into the events at Hillsborough has found that the Liverpool fans were not to blame but were abandoned to their fate by a shocking degree of mismanagement by the authorities responsible for them. His comments on this matter have been roundly condemned by everyone who actually knows about the event including his beloved Chelsea FC I'm sorry you have lost a show that meant a lot to you, I love the game as you obviously do but some things are more important than games. The sponsors of the show dropped it not because of threats but because American fans pointed out the lies he continued to tell for his own agenda. I hope you get a better show soon, one not tainted by hate and one the sport deserves Paul
