NC prison should provide treatment for Andre A. Mackey

The NC Department of Corrections should provide treatment (therapy and not just medications) to Andre A. Mackey, age 36, who suffers from (polyfragmented) dissociative identity disorder from child abuse.

Andre A. Mackey is in prison for the actions of 1 alter out of his 3500 .  This alter would not have been able to gain control and commit this offense if Andre A. Mackey had been provided the treatment he and his loved ones have been seeking for him for the last 15 years.  Many of the alters are young children and female.  Most other adult males are sensitive and caring individuals.  Prison will weaken the delicate, sensitive alters and allow the 1 dangerous alter to strengthen.  This will only cause more suffering, both for the innocent alters and for society when Andre A. Mackey is released.
We, the undersigned, are writing to request that Andre A. Mackey be provided therapy by someone trained to work with polyfragmented dissociative identity disorders.

We are greatly concerned because Andre A. Mackey is in prison for the actions of one of his 3500 alters.   This alter would not have been able to gain control or commit this offense, if Andre A. Mackey had received the treatment that he and his loved ones have been seeking for 15 years.  Many of the alters are young children */or females.  Most of the adult males are sensitive and caring individuals.  Prison will most likely weaken the sensitive and delicate alters and allow this one dangerous alter to strengthen causing more danger to Andre A. Mackey and to society once he is released.

We also request that Andre A. Mackey be considered a suicide risk at all times.
