On September 8th, 2008, Cowhead caused an outrage when promoting B.S.L.. Cowhead was promoting animal cruelty to his public. This will not be tolerated! while it was said by one person that the teeth should be removed, they claim it was a joke.
They also stated Pit bulls are an abomination from hell, and they should never exist in the first place. On that monday, Cowhead also stated you will never hear of a pit saving a child, they terrorize instead. He is miss informing the public and we are afraid this is going to contribute to a rise in animal abuse, especially for pits. We are all aware only an average of 20% of the pits make it out of the shelters alive, a large percentage of dog cruelty cases are pits also. We are always dilligent watching the paper and creg's list for people giving them away in fear they will fall into the hands of a breeder, or worse , like fighting, or for dog meat for that matter. (It happens daily in the U.S.)
We demand:
1) a copy of transcripts from September 8th, 2008 and September 9th, 2008.
2) For them to list the known 75 breeds listed under the B.S.L. Law.
3) A public appologie on suggesting animal cruely, and actualy acknowledging it, not try to make himself look good at the moment and turn the issue into a big "joke". Animals deserve a chance to make people happy, but when people preach for animal abuse instead of against it they have no buisness owning any animals. I Raised Pit Bulls for 17 years and NOT one of mine ever hurt a child or another animal!! My Pits were raised in the house and around kids and Not just my kids only. My kids Friends were always around them. My pits were always around My HORSES, CHICKENS, PIGS Ect, and They NEVER hurt any of them!!!!! My Pits were LOVED by us and when we would take them out some were People would pet them and love on them!!! I'v even taken them to PETS MART!!!I'v Had some people say to me, You leave you'r dogs in the house with the kids? I tell them YES Becaues I TRUST MY DOGS!!!!Now Let ME Tell All YOU Stuped people who think you know every thing about Pit Bulls, Well You DON'T Know anthing about them at all!!! Just because of your own ignorance and fear of the unknown you want to eradicate an entire breed? I know there are issues with any dog, but I would fear my dachshund years before my pit. Oh yeah, my dachshund will bite if she doesn't like you. Does that mean I should eradicate that breed as well? Or should I simply be a responsible owner and work within my limitations? I chose the ladder and everything has worked out fine. I will fight the BSL ever step of the way, because as far as I am concerned, and remember this is just an opinion, the BSL is made up of ignorant, fearful and malicious people. Why can't you have what you want to love in your life and leave my loved ones alone?

wow! all i have to say is that cowhead is a very cruel person. if he treats animals this way theres no telling how he will treat humans. its wrong and i will not listen to that radio station while theyre promoting animal cruelty. they should think about what theyre saying before they say it. i think theyll have alot of ppl not listening to them anymore.

As being the owner of FOUR pitbulls and one CHIHUAHUA, i can say that pitbulls are some of the coolest and most loving dogs out there and the MOST misunderstood. Any dog can be a violent one. A dog is only as violent as the master trains it to be.

BSL Is HORRIBLE! I had to get rid of my 2 dogs because of it and they were nicer than a golden retriever! I have had "family dog" breeds bite people that I know, yet never have I once had anyone I know get hurt or attacked by a pitbull or pitbull mix.

What people fail to realize is once they have banned the pit bulls, the stupid people who have given them a bad name will only move on to another breed. I had the pleasure of owning 2 pits. One was raised with my daughter from the day she was born and if not for my beautiful girl, my daughter would not be here today. She was choking in her sleep when my dog came and woke me up and got me to follow to her room. This is when I found her choking on her vomit. That dog slept from day one under her crib and then in her bed until the day she died. My second pit was a beautiful white female. I got her very young and only had her a year when she was dignosed with heart worms that was to far gone even before we had gotten her. She was an angel and loved both my daughters. I own horses and cats and she never showed aggression to any of my animals. She was a protector of my family and would always let me know when someone was at the door. Once i invited the person in my home she would greet them with lots of love and kisses. At times I think about getting another one. My only fear is that I will lose her to this stupid crap with trying to rid the world of this breed. I now have a border collie and worry if they could be targeted next. They are a working dog also used to keep coyotes and other carnivores away from the herd of sheep. They are also known for herding cattle and can be very dominate but are one of the best family and loyal dogs, as is the pit bull breeds. Its not the dog its the idots that have made them look so bad. Please understand how wonderful they really are and how much they have touched peoples lives. Punish those who have hurt these beautiful animals and let these great family dogs live.
