On September 8th, 2008, Cowhead caused an outrage when promoting B.S.L.. Cowhead was promoting animal cruelty to his public. This will not be tolerated! while it was said by one person that the teeth should be removed, they claim it was a joke.
They also stated Pit bulls are an abomination from hell, and they should never exist in the first place. On that monday, Cowhead also stated you will never hear of a pit saving a child, they terrorize instead. He is miss informing the public and we are afraid this is going to contribute to a rise in animal abuse, especially for pits. We are all aware only an average of 20% of the pits make it out of the shelters alive, a large percentage of dog cruelty cases are pits also. We are always dilligent watching the paper and creg's list for people giving them away in fear they will fall into the hands of a breeder, or worse , like fighting, or for dog meat for that matter. (It happens daily in the U.S.)
We demand:
1) a copy of transcripts from September 8th, 2008 and September 9th, 2008.
2) For them to list the known 75 breeds listed under the B.S.L. Law.
3) A public appologie on suggesting animal cruely, and actualy acknowledging it, not try to make himself look good at the moment and turn the issue into a big "joke". We don't live in the moment, we see our crisis of euthenizing up to 18 million pets yearly in the U.S. and want the public to be more aware. Laughing about the breed, talking like it is not wanted, only enforces evil people to target their cruel acts towards the pit bulls.

Call the sponsors of the advertisements that the station plays and let them know that you will not use their services as long as they advertise on that show!!
Please write and call station for the sake of the Pit Bull owners in that area and everywhere!! These narrow minded bigots need to be stopped. We don't need any more shock jocks, we need DJ's who will make us forget our cares for a while not make us sad and emotional. Down with 102.5. If you live in that area stop listening to them. And TELL THEM that you will not listen.
