This petition will support the Tappan Bridge Park Alliance (TBPA) in its efforts to transform the Tappan Zee Bridge into the first linear park that sits over the Hudson River.  This would be a unique destination for residents and visitors, a signature public space for the Lower Hudson Valley that would put Westchester and Rockland Counties at the top of a list of favorites for the community.

We the undersigned, as your constituents urge you to support the Tappan Bridge Park Alliance in its efforts to transform the Tappan Zee Bridge into a linear park for the enjoyment of people on both sides of the span through the creation of walkways, bike paths, green spaces, and more.

This would be a unique destination for residents and visitors, a signature public space for the Lower Hudson Valley that would put Westchester and Rockland Counties at the top of a list of favorites for the community.  It would also be smart planning for the future economic development of the region.
