Taxation of the poor and middle class

Target:
Executive, Legislative and Judicial Branch of the Federal Government
Sponsored by:
The United States government is not representing the majority population of the country. They are taxing us with an unapportioned tax. There is nothing in the Constitution that allows for this type of taxation. Corporations are given a single taxpayer status. However, because of the tax law they are provided with extraordinary tax exemptions. Not so with the hourly wage earner. It is time to shift the balance of taxation on those who can most afford to pay, namely Corporations. The best way to let your voice be heard on this issue is to stand together in great numbers and write to your Congressman, Senators, the President and the Supreme Court to stop taxing citizens who earn less than 200,000 dollars per year. For those about that level of income make the tax an apportioned one.

We the undersigned, request our elected officials to do the right thing.

The United States Constitution strictly forbids a direct unapportioned tax on Americans. Yet that is exactly what is being done.

If open markets are such a good thing than why is the divide between rich and poor getting larger?

It is time for lawmakers to do what is right and place the balance of taxation on Corporations.

An apportioned flat tax on all entities with a gross income over 200,000 per year will more than satisfy the National debt.

Thank you for your consideration on this issue.
