There is no place in the US Senate for a convicted criminal. Forget about Sen. Ted Steven's arrogance. Sure he'll try to appeal, but everyone knows that "ignorance" is not a defense for the crimes he committed. If he is the longest serving Republican Senator, he should have know the rules. The problem is he knew the ethics rules in the US Senate and he blatently ignored them!

Ted Stevens and Sarah Palin are on the same page and it saids. That one can lie to the People Of Alaska and still be in office. Even if Ted Stevens resigns and that is one thousand to one shot. If regular citizens are required to disclose whether or not they are felons when applying for jobs, Senator Stevens must relinquish his position as a public servant now that he's been convicted of felony corruption. This is absurd that we're even having to ask.
