Tell ASDA not to buy milk from farms involved in the badger cull!

In an email dated 1st August 2011, ASDA Supermarkets admitted they fully supported the UK government’s mass slaughter of badgers in its futile attempt to reduce tuberculosis in cattle; “As such we fully support the Government's decision to implement a science based approach to tackling Bovine TB”. Tuberculosis in cattle is caused by cattle movements, not by badgers, and numerous scientific reports conclude that a cull of badgers would be ineffective. Badgers are Britain’s most persecuted wild animal and yet again they are being scapegoated. We must defend them. Therefore, we are urging ASDA Supermarkets not to buy milk from farms involved in the badger cull. If ASDA ignore the wishes of their customers they will have the blood of thousands of dead badgers on their hands. We simply cannot let this happen.
