Tell RED LOBSTER to STOP supporting the SEAL HUNT!!!

Dear Kim Lopdrup,

       We the undersigned, are absolutely astounded and horrified to discover that the Red Lobster restaurant chain is the largest purchaser of Canadian seafood.   Actually, to be more specific, Red Lobster purchases seafood sold by the Canadian sealers.  Every year, these murderers go out and kill tens of thousands baby seals, ages 2 weeks to 2 months old.  They hook, drag, and skin these seals.  Most of the poor seals are alive while this is happening.  In the spring of 2010, 67,000 seal alone pups were clubbed viciously to their deaths.  Every year, the death toll reaches over 300,000.  Many of the seals who died had their pelts thrown back into the water.  Their death was literally for nothing.

      How can you continue to purchase your seafood from these people?  How can you sleep soundly at night knowing that because of YOU, this brutal massacre will continue every year!  Well, I know there are people out there who do care.  I ask those people to please sign this petition so we can finally END THIS!!!!

      Actually Mr. Lopdrup, I used to be a Red Lobster employee, just a part-time job to get through high school.  While working there I actually met you, spoke with you, and I had no idea whatsoever that you were technically the main supporter of this massive seal hunt.  I quit working because I did not enjoy working there; something about the environment was always cold and unwelcoming.  Now I know why.  When I found out, I literally got sick to my stomach.  I could not believe that I was a part of a corporation that stood for everything I stood against.  I feel like any money I may have earned was dirty money.  If I would have known about the massacre I would never EVER have stepped foot in that building. I have not set foot in a Red Lobster since.  I donate my money to amazing organizations like Harpseals.org and Seasheperd.org to pay back the dirty money I recieved.  To get over the shock, I have been spreading the word of your biggest, most horrific secret and I will continue to do this until the hunt ends.  I have handed out flyers about your contributions to the slaughter to your customers, right in front of your restaurants.  People need to know about what is really going on! 

      I am not asking you to shut down your restaurant.  Just get your seafood from the United States! Get it anywhere!  Just stop paying Canada for food%u2026because every customer that walks through that door who pays their bill is contributing to the Canadian Seal Massacre.   Please, take a look in the mirror and think about the big picture that is going on here.  Please help us save these animals.  They are completely defenseless and cannot stop the brutality that is constantly bearing down on them.  Please, from the bottom of our hearts, boycott Canadian seafood with us and help save the seals.  I guarantee that you would have more customers if this ends.  Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.  It really comes straight from my heart and I hope you seriously consider joining us to protect the seals.
