Tell Vietnam to Stop Making "Tiger Bone Glue"

On November 19th, the administration of a province in the north central coast of Vietnam, Thanh Hoa, allowed official agencies to auction tiger-bone glue seized from a local resident.

The administration (People's Committee) ordered the Finance, Health, Forest Protection Departments and Traditional Medicine Hospital to auction glue made by killing a tiger that was found in the house of Nguyen Mau Chien of Tho Xuan District.

A report by the Worldwide Fund for Nature in March said there were only around 30 tigers left in the wild in Vietnam.

We ask the People's Committee to join the world in the fight to help save the critically endangered wild tiger by banning tiger products. Continuing to profit from tiger products only increases the demand and illegal poaching which will lead to the wild tigers complete extinction.
